September 1994: Establishment of Diplomatic Relations

In September 1994, Georgia and the Republic of Lithuania formally established diplomatic relations with each other.

August 2018: Lithuania Introduces Migration Restrictions

In August 2018, Lithuania imposed migration restrictions on individuals included in the Otkhozoria–Tatunashvili List, which is a list compiled by the Georgian Parliament of individuals believed to have violated the rights of Georgian citizens in the occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali.
