Following the conclusion of the 2025 season, as of July 2025, Grand Slam Track had yet to pay the City of Miramar for the rental of the Ansin Sports Complex and reportedly owed $13 million in prize money to athletes. Prize money payouts were scheduled from the end of July through to the end of September. Michael Johnson stated the league was facing a difficult financial situation.
