Inside Out 2, the sequel to the acclaimed 2015 animated film, is currently in production at Pixar Animation Studios. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, the film continues the coming-of-age story with a screenplay penned by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein. The original voice cast, including Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan, will reprise their roles. New additions to the cast include Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Paul Walter Hauser, and Kensington Tallman.

Kensington Tallman was also announced as the new voice of Riley, replacing Kaitlyn Dias.
The first 35 minutes of "Inside Out 2" were shown to attendees at CinemaCon on April 11, 2024, during a presentation by The Walt Disney Studios showcasing their upcoming 2024 theatrical releases.
