Jacob Walter Misiorowski, nicknamed "the Miz", is an American professional baseball pitcher. Born on April 3, 2002, he plays for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his debut in MLB in 2025.
In 2025, during his third start, Jacob Misiorowski became the first MLB pitcher since 1901 to allow five hits or fewer across his first three career starts.

In 2019, as a junior, Jacob Misiorowski achieved a 9–2 win-loss record with a 1.48 ERA, earning him All-State honors. That December, he participated in a bullpen session, showcasing a quality curveball to scouts from the Milwaukee Brewers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Colorado Rockies.
In 2020, Misiorowski's senior season was cancelled due to COVID-19. His chances of being drafted were significantly lowered by MLB's decision to shorten the 2020 draft to five rounds. He initially committed to Oklahoma State but later decided to enroll at Crowder College.
In 2021, Jacob Misiorowski appeared in two games as a freshman at Crowder College before redshirting the season after a knee injury. During the season, he committed to transfer to Louisiana State for his final three years of collegiate eligibility.
On July 27, 2022, despite having committed to play college baseball at Louisiana State University, Jacob Misiorowski signed with the Milwaukee Brewers after being selected 63rd overall in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft for an over-slot signing bonus of $2.35 million.
In 2022, Jacob Misiorowski made 15 starts at Crowder, earning a second team NJCAA All-American title with a 10–0 record, a 2.72 ERA, and 136 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched. He also participated in the Major League Baseball Combine, recording the eighth fastest pitches and averaged 99.8 miles per hour on his fastball.
In August 2024, Jacob Misiorowski was promoted by the Brewers to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds and moved to the bullpen for a potential major league role later in their season.
On July 11, 2025, Jacob Misiorowski was named to the National League All-Star roster as a replacement for Matthew Boyd. He was the fastest player in league history to become an All-Star after just five major league games. He finished the regular season with a 5-3 record, a 4.36 ERA, and 87 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched and finished 11th in National League Rookie of the Year voting.
In 2025, Baseball America rated Misiorowski as the Brewers' third-best prospect. He was assigned to Triple-A Nashville, and by June, Baseball America had Misiorowski as the 21st-best prospect in all of baseball. On June 12, he was promoted to the major leagues.
