Jacob Walter Misiorowski, nicknamed "The Miz", is an American professional baseball pitcher. Born on April 3, 2002, he currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his debut in MLB in 2025.
In his third MLB start, Jacob Misiorowski became the first MLB pitcher since 1901 to allow five hits or fewer across his first three career starts.
In his second MLB start, Jacob Misiorowski threw six perfect innings, becoming the first MLB player since 1961 to record 11 no-hit innings to start his career.

In 2019, as a junior in high school, Jacob Misiorowski achieved a 9-2 record with a 1.48 ERA, earning All-State honors. Also in 2019, he showcased his curveball at a bullpen session attended by scouts from the Milwaukee Brewers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Colorado Rockies.
In 2020, Jacob Misiorowski's senior season was canceled due to COVID-19, impacting his draft chances. After initially committing to Oklahoma State, he chose to enroll at Crowder College.
In 2021, Jacob Misiorowski appeared in two games at Crowder College before redshirting the season due to a knee injury. During the 2021 season, he committed to transfer to Louisiana State for his remaining collegiate eligibility.
On July 27, 2022, Jacob Misiorowski was drafted 63rd overall by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft and signed with the team for a $2.35 million signing bonus.
In 2022, Jacob Misiorowski was named a second team NJCAA All-American after going 10-0 with a 2.72 ERA at Crowder College. Following the 2022 season, he participated in the Major League Baseball Combine, showcasing impressive fastball velocity.
In August 2024, the Milwaukee Brewers promoted Jacob Misiorowski to their AAA minor league affiliate and moved him to the bullpen, while keeping the long-term plan for him to be a starting pitcher.
On July 11, 2025, Jacob Misiorowski was named to the National League All-Star roster as a replacement for Matthew Boyd. The selection was controversial due to his lack of experience.
In 2025, Baseball America rated Jacob Misiorowski as the Brewers' third-best prospect. In June of 2025, after a strong performance with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, he was promoted to the major leagues.
