James "Jim" Dent, nicknamed "Big Boy," was an American professional golfer who competed for over 40 years on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. Though he earned around $500,000 and won four unofficial tournaments on the PGA Tour, Dent achieved greater success on the PGA Champions Tour. There, he secured 12 tournament victories and amassed over $9 million in earnings, marking a significant accomplishment in his golfing career.
