Jordan Romano is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Los Angeles Angels in MLB. Previously, he played for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies. He is recognized as a two-time All-Star, marking him as one of the top players in the league.
In 2014, Jordan Romano was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the tenth round of the Major League Baseball draft and received a $25,000 signing bonus. He was assigned to the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Blue Jays before being promoted to the Bluefield Blue Jays.
On June 13, 2016, Jordan Romano was activated off the disabled list and made his first professional start for the Lansing Lugnuts, holding the Great Lakes Loons to two hits in a 4–1 complete game win.
In February 2017, it was announced that Jordan Romano would play for Team Italy at the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
In 2017, Romano played the entire minor league season with the Dunedin Blue Jays, achieving a 7–5 record, 3.39 ERA, and 138 strikeouts.

In 2019, Jordan Romano's contract was selected on June 12, and he was called up to the major leagues for the first time. That night, he made his MLB debut, pitching a scoreless 7th inning in a victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

In 2021, Jordan Romano became the Blue Jays closer, achieving a 7–1 record with a 2.14 ERA and compiling 23 saves.
On April 11, 2022, Jordan Romano set a Blue Jays club record with his 26th consecutive converted save, stretching back to the 2021 season, contributing to a 3–0 victory over the New York Yankees.
