In 2021, Jordan Walker was assigned to the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Low-A Southeast, where he homered on the first pitch of his first professional at-bat. After a stint on the injured list, he was promoted to the Peoria Chiefs of the High-A Central in late June. Across 82 games, he slashed .317/.388/.548 with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs. The Cardinals named him their Minor League Co-Player of the Year alongside Juan Yepez.
In 2022, Jordan Walker was assigned to the Springfield Cardinals of the Double-A Texas League. He was selected to represent the Cardinals at the 2022 All-Star Futures Game alongside Masyn Winn. In early August, he transitioned to playing in the outfield. Over 119 games with Springfield, he had a .306/.388/.510 slash line with 19 home runs and 58 RBIs. Following the season, he was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Salt River Rafters.
On March 25, 2023, the Cardinals' president of baseball operations, John Mozeliak, announced that Jordan Walker had made the Opening Day roster.
Jordan Walker began the 2024 season as the Cardinals' starting right fielder. However, he was demoted to Triple-A Memphis on April 24 after a .155 batting average. He was recalled on August 12, played four games, and then was sent back down on August 20.
