Julien Alfred is a Saint Lucian sprinter who achieved significant success in 2024. She secured Saint Lucia's first-ever Olympic medal by winning gold in the 100 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics, setting a national record of 10.72 seconds. Additionally, she won a silver medal in the 200 metres at the same Olympics. Alfred also claimed the gold medal in the 60 metres at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships, further solidifying her status as a top sprinter.
In 2015, Alfred became the Central American and Caribbean U15 champion and was also recognized as Saint Lucia’s Junior Sportswoman of the Year.
