He played college basketball for Duke University, where he was a four-year starter and led the team to the 2010 NCAA Championship, earning the Most Outstanding Player award. Singler was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft and played professionally from 2011 to 2019.
