Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real (POTR) is an American country rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2008 by Lukas Nelson, Willie Nelson's son. The band consists of Lukas Nelson, Anthony LoGerfo, Corey McCormick, Logan Metz, and Tato Melgar. They have released eight studio albums, alongside live albums, singles, and EPs, contributing significantly to the country rock scene.

1985: Farm Aid Launch

In 1985, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp launched the Farm Aid music festival.
