Luke Jackson is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL. Prior to Fremantle, he played for the Melbourne Football Club. He is a prominent figure in Australian rules football.

In 2018, Jackson represented Australia at the Under-17 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Argentina.
In 2019, Jackson played for the East Fremantle Sharks in the colts division and represented Western Australia at the AFL Under 18 Championships for two seasons, where he ended up winning under-18 All Australian selection.
In 2019, Luke Jackson was childhood friends with NBA draft pick Luke Travers. The pair both attended Willetton Senior together as part of their renowned basketball academy. He was also childhood friends with fellow 2019 AFL draft pick Trey Ruscoe, the pair attended the same primary school and played junior football together.

In 2019, the AIS basketball program wanted Jackson to move to Canberra and begin a pathway which could have led him to college in the United States.
In 2020, Luke Jackson debuted for the Demons in a win over the Carlton Blues, and later received a Rising Star nomination for Round 10. At the end of 2020, he won the Harold Ball Memorial Trophy.
In 2021, Luke Jackson received a Rising Star nomination for his performance in Round 7, and won the award overall at the season's conclusion. He was also part of Melbourne's Grand Final victory over the Western Bulldogs.
At the end of the year, Jackson re-signed for a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2022.
Following Melbourne's loss to the Brisbane Lions in the 2022 semi-final, Jackson requested a trade to Western Australia.
In 2023, Luke Jackson debuted for Fremantle in Round 1 against St Kilda. He tied with Lachie Schultz for the Glendinning–Allan Medal and finished his first season at Fremantle with a fourth place finish in the club's fairest and best award.
In February 2024, Jackson was ranked the sixth best ruckman in the league by Nine's Wide World of Sports. He was also named as the sole ruckman for Fremantle's opening game and had an impressive performance in the win against North Melbourne.
