Marlon Humphrey is a professional football cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. He played high school football at Hoover High School, earning USA Today All-USA honors in 2012 and 2013. Humphrey also excelled in track and field, winning a silver medal in the 110 metres hurdles at the 2013 World Youth Championships. He was also named a USA Today All-American in track and field.
On September 13, 2021, Marlon Humphrey started in the Baltimore Ravens' season-opener against the Las Vegas Raiders, setting a season-high with nine combined tackles and one pass deflection in a 27–33 overtime win.
On December 7, 2021, Marlon Humphrey was placed on injured reserve by the Baltimore Ravens due to a torn pectoral muscle, causing him to miss the last five games of the season.
On January 27, 2022, the Baltimore Ravens hired Mike Macdonald as their defensive coordinator after firing Don Martindale. Humphrey returned to training camp as the No. 1 starting cornerback.
On December 24, 2022, Marlon Humphrey set a season-high with seven solo tackles and forced a fumble as the Ravens defeated the Atlanta Falcons 17–9.
On August 16, 2023, the Ravens announced that Marlon Humphrey would undergo foot surgery for an ongoing injury, leading to his inactivity for the first four games of the season.
On November 12, 2023, Marlon Humphrey recorded three solo tackles before exiting the game in the third quarter of a 31–33 loss to the Cleveland Browns due to an ankle injury.
On February 1, 2024, the Baltimore Ravens promoted Zachary Orr to defensive coordinator. Marlon Humphrey was retained as the No. 1 starting cornerback.
On September 15, 2024, Marlon Humphrey set a season-high with ten combined tackles and had his first interception of the season during a 23–26 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders.
On December 31, 2024, Marlon Humphrey recorded his first career pick-six during the Ravens' 34–17 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, intercepting a pass and returning it for a 37-yard touchdown.
