Picabo Street is a highly accomplished American former World Cup alpine ski racer, renowned for her achievements in downhill and super G events. Her career highlights include an Olympic gold medal in the super G at the 1998 Winter Olympics and a gold medal in downhill at the 1996 World Championships. She secured World Cup downhill season titles in both 1995 and 1996, a first for an American woman. With nine World Cup downhill race wins and induction into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2004, Street is celebrated as a pioneer and icon in American skiing.
