December 2024: National Team Call-up and ODI Debut

In December 2024, Pratika Rawal earned her maiden call-up for the Indian national team for the ODI series against West Indies. She made her One Day International debut against West Indies on December 22, 2024, becoming the 150th ODI cricketer for India, scoring 40 runs and forming a 110-run partnership with Smriti Mandhana. In the second ODI match of December 2024, she scored her maiden half-century (76) and took two wickets against West Indies, also sharing a 110-run partnership with Smriti Mandhana and taking her first international wicket by dismissing West Indies captain Hayley Matthews.

January 2025: Player of the Match Award and Century Against Ireland

On January 10, 2025, Pratika Rawal dedicated her Player of the Match award to her family and coach. On January 15, 2025, she scored her first century (154) in ODIs against Ireland at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, winning her first international Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards. She achieved records, becoming the third quickest Indian to score a maiden century in ODIs and the third Indian to surpass 150 runs in women's ODIs, and also the first woman cricketer to score the most runs (444) in her first six innings, breaking Charlotte Edwards' record (434).
