Scott Arniel is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He currently serves as the head coach for the Winnipeg Jets of the NHL. Previously, Arniel held coaching positions with the Columbus Blue Jackets (as head coach), New York Rangers, Washington Capitals, and also with the Winnipeg Jets as an associate coach. During his playing career, he was a left winger in the NHL, playing for the original Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, and Boston Bruins.
In 1978, Scott Arniel entered the major junior ranks with the Kingston Canadians of the Ontario Major Junior Hockey League (OMJHL).
