Sheck Wes made a significant career move on February 2, 2018, by signing with Kanye West's GOOD Music and Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Records, in conjunction with Interscope. He also appeared on Travis Scott's album "Astroworld" on the song "No Bystanders" with Juice Wrld. Adding to his achievements, Wes announced and released his debut studio album "Mudboy" within three days in early October. Later that month, he released a new single, "YKTS," under the Cactus Jack label.
In February 2018, Sheck Wes signed a significant record deal with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack and Kanye West's GOOD Music, under Interscope Records. However, he also faced being labeled a one-hit wonder during this time.

Sheck Wes kicked off 2019 by joining the opening act for Eminem's concert in Hawaii alongside Logic. He closed out the year with the release of his song "YKTS" with an accompanying music video and a guest appearance on the Cactus Jack compilation album "JackBoys" on the song "Gang Gang".
Ridge Productions publicly accused Sheck Wes of failing to pay for the music video for his upcoming single "Mudboy" on January 31, 2019. They released the original video online with altered audio that mocked Wes and his crew for not honoring their agreement.
Sheck Wes was captured on video in February 2019 seemingly stalking his ex-partner, Justine Skye. After Skye publicly accused him of abuse, former classmates alleged that Wes had been abusive towards other women during his high school years.
Sheck Wes began dating social media personality India Love in April 2019.
India Love posted, then deleted, a photo in June 2019 that appeared to show a black eye, suggesting abuse by Sheck Wes following their breakup. Despite this, the two later reconciled.
Sheck Wes was arrested in New York on May 21, 2020, on charges related to drugs and firearms. He was later released.
June 2020 saw a public falling out between Sheck Wes and India Love, during which she again implied abuse by posting a photo of a black eye. Love captioned the picture with accusations against Wes, although she later removed the post. These allegations led to Wes being dropped from a Major League Soccer advertising campaign, and Skye reportedly sought a restraining order against him. Despite the accusations, which Wes denied, no charges were filed.
Sheck Wes released the single "Rich One Day" on November 6, 2020.

On January 29, 2021, Sheck Wes collaborated with YSL Records, Yak Gotti, and Yung Kayo to release "GFU." This single marked the second release from YSL's compilation album, "Slime Language 2."
Sheck Wes signed with Paris Basketball, a team in LNB Pro A, on May 10, 2021.
