Griekspoor has secured three ATP Tour singles titles and two in doubles. He currently holds the position of the number one ranked player from the Netherlands.

In 2021, Griekspoor won two Challenger tour titles at the Prague Open and Bratislava Open. He qualified for the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, marking his debut at the tournament. Following Wimbledon, he reached the final of the Dutch Open in Amersfoort and defeated Botic van de Zandschulp to win his fifth Challenger title.
In 2021, Tallon Griekspoor won his fifth Challenger title at the Tennis Napoli Cup, defeating Andrea Pellegrino. The following week, he secured his sixth Challenger title at the Vesuvio Cup, defeating Alexander Ritschard. He then joined a select group of players with six singles trophies in one season on the ATP Challenger Tour and reached the top 100 for the first time in his career.
Following Wimbledon, where he reached the second round, Griekspoor made his debut in the top 50 at world No. 47 on July 11, 2022. The following week, he successfully defended his Challenger title at the Dutch Open.

At the 2025 BNP Paribas Open, Griekspoor defeated Alexander Zverev for his first top 5 win. He reached the fourth round and his first Masters quarterfinal, becoming the fifth Dutchman to achieve this feat.
In the beginning of 2025, ranked No. 47 in Dubai, Griekspoor defeated Roman Safiullin and Ugo Humbert to reach his first ATP 500-level quarterfinal of the season. Next he reached the semifinals, defeating Daniil Medvedev, saving four match points, for the biggest win by ranking and also recording his 100th career win.
