Tamara Zidanšek is a Slovenian professional tennis player known for her achievements in both singles and doubles. She reached career-high rankings of No. 22 in singles and No. 47 in doubles. Zidanšek has secured one WTA singles title and four WTA doubles titles. Additionally, she has achieved success on the WTA Challenger Tour and the ITF Circuit, winning multiple titles in both singles and doubles. Currently, she holds the position of the second highest WTA-ranked player from Slovenia.

In January 2022, Ranked No. 261 at the Thailand Open, Tamara Zidanšek reached her first WTA Tour semifinal since January 2022, beating Tatiana Prozorova, Katie Volynets, and Nadia Podoroska. She lost to Rebecca Šramková in the semifinals.
In September 2023, Tamara Zidanšek won the WTA 125 tournament in Bari after defeating Rebecca Šramková. This victory resulted in her moving up 30 positions in the rankings, returning to the top 100 on September 11, 2023.
