He also made three relief appearances in the 2021 NLCS.

At the end of August, Gonsolin was placed on the injured list with a forearm strain. He returned on October 3 and ended the season with a career best 16–1 record, a 2.14 ERA and 119 strikeouts.
On January 31, 2023, Tony Gonsolin signed a two-year, $6.65 million contract with the Dodgers to avoid salary arbitration.
