Vikings, a historical drama created by Michael Hirst, premiered in 2013 and concluded in 2021. The series, a co-production between Canada and Ireland, initially aired on the History Channel. The final episodes were released on Amazon Prime Video in Ireland before broadcast on History in Canada. The show follows the Norsemen's exploits during the Viking Age. A sequel series, Vikings: Valhalla, premiered on Netflix in 2022.
