June 11, 2019: TXT joined Weverse

On June 11, 2019, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) was the first artist to join the earliest version of Weverse.

June 2019: Hybe launched Weply

In June 2019, Hybe launched the e-commerce platform Weply, which later became the Weverse Shop app.

October 2019: News of app's development announced

In October 2019, news of the Weverse app's development was announced at the beginning of BTS's Love Yourself: Speak Yourself stadium tour in Seoul, South Korea.

January 27, 2021: Naver announced transfer of V-Live service to Weverse Company

On January 27, 2021, Naver Corporation announced the transfer of their V-Live service to Weverse Company and its integration with the Weverse platform.

2021: YG artists joined Weverse
