Zach LaVine is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. Drafted 13th overall in 2014 by the Minnesota Timberwolves, LaVine gained prominence through his athleticism and scoring ability. He is a two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion and earned NBA All-Star selections in 2021 and 2022 while playing for the Chicago Bulls. LaVine's accomplishments also include winning a gold medal as a member of the 2020 U.S. Olympic team in Tokyo.

Prior to the gold medal game, he was second in assists, playing solid defense and was shooting a team-best 47% from three-point range.
