A League of Their Own

A League of Their Own, directed by Penny Marshall, is a fictionalized account of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) during World War II. With the men away at war, the league is formed to keep baseball alive. The film focuses on sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty), their recruitment, and their experiences playing for the Rockford Peaches.
