Canvastown

Canvastown is a locality in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, situated at the confluence of the Wakamarina and Pelorus Rivers. State Highway 6 passes through the area, connecting it to nearby towns such as Rai Valley (17 km to the northwest) and Havelock (10 km to the east).

2002: 125th Jubilee

In 2002, Canvastown School celebrated its 125th Jubilee.

October 2020: Provincial Growth Fund Commitment

In October 2020, the Government committed $32,318 from the Provincial Growth Fund to upgrade the marae, creating four jobs.
