The Cleveland Cavaliers, or Cavs, are a professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They compete in the NBA's Eastern Conference, Central Division. Established in 1970, the Cavs initially played at Cleveland Arena before moving to the Richfield Coliseum, and ultimately to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (formerly Gund Arena) in downtown Cleveland in 1994. Dan Gilbert has been the team's owner since 2005.
