In meteorology, a cloud is a visible mass of liquid droplets, ice crystals, or other particles suspended in a planetary atmosphere. Primarily composed of water, these droplets and crystals form when air becomes saturated. Saturation occurs either through cooling to the dew point or by gaining sufficient moisture to raise the dew point to the ambient temperature.
