Cole Younger

Thomas Coleman "Cole" Younger was an American Confederate guerrilla during the Civil War and subsequently a prominent outlaw leader with the James-Younger Gang. As the eldest of the Younger brothers, including Jim, John, and Bob, all members of the notorious gang, Cole played a central role in their criminal activities, which included bank robberies, train robberies, and other violent crimes across the Midwest during the late 19th century. He was eventually captured following a failed robbery in Northfield, Minnesota, and spent many years in prison.
