Craig Melvin

Craig Melvin is a prominent American broadcast journalist and news anchor for NBC News and MSNBC. He served as a news anchor on NBC's Today from August 2018 until January 2025. Additionally, he co-hosted Today Third Hour from October 2018, becoming a permanent host in January 2019. As of January 2025, he co-anchors the first and second hours of Today. He also serves as a fill-in anchor for NBC Nightly News, demonstrating his versatility and importance within the NBCUniversal news organization.
