Doug Mientkiewicz

Doug Mientkiewicz is a former MLB first baseman and manager, known for his defensive skills and contributions to winning teams. He played from 1998 to 2009, notably with the Minnesota Twins, earning a Gold Glove Award. He achieved World Series success with the Boston Red Sox in 2004. Mientkiewicz also holds the distinction of being one of only six players to win both an Olympic gold medal (2000) and a World Series championship, marking a unique accomplishment in his career.
