Filiz Akın is a prominent Turkish actress, writer, and TV presenter. She is well-regarded in Turkish cinema (Yeşilçam) for her portrayal of noble, modern, urban, and elegant characters. Her work has earned her a significant following in Turkey.
In June 1960, Filiz Akın graduated from TED Ankara College Foundation Schools. She had been a successful student, earning awards for her paintings and compositions, and was chosen as an ideal student. After graduation, she began working at the Ankara branch of American Export-Isbrandtsen Lines.
