GMA News TV

GMA News TV is a 24-hour Philippine pay television channel owned by Citynet Network Marketing and Productions Inc., a subsidiary of GMA Network Inc. It launched as a free-to-air domestic network in the Philippines on February 28, 2011, replacing Q. An international pay television version, GMA News TV International, was launched later in the same year. The channel provides news and current affairs programming.

2005: Block Time Lease Agreement Between ZOE and GMA

In 2005, ZOE Broadcasting Network served as an originating affiliate and flagship station for GMA News TV due to a block time lease agreement between ZOE Broadcasting and GMA's subsidiary Citynet Network Marketing and Productions.

February 7, 2011: GMA News TV Unveiled

On February 7, 2011, GMA News TV was unveiled during GMA Network's flagship newscast 24 Oras.

January 2019: Launch on Starhub TV

In January 2019, GMA News TV International was officially launched on Starhub TV, along with GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV.

April 24, 2019: Termination of Agreement Between ZOE and GMA

On April 24, 2019, GMA Network and ZOE Broadcasting Network announced they would terminate their block time lease agreement by the end of May 2019 due to increasing lease payments and decreased revenues for GMA Network.
