Gary Payton

Gary Payton, nicknamed "the Glove," is a retired American professional basketball player renowned as one of the greatest point guards. He spent 13 seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics, holding franchise records in assists and steals, and leading them to the NBA Finals. He also played for the Bucks, Lakers, Celtics, and Heat, winning an NBA championship with Miami in 2006. Payton was known for his exceptional defense and was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013 and named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.
