Buddy Hield is a Bahamian professional basketball player currently with the Golden State Warriors. He gained prominence playing college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners, earning Big 12 Player of the Year honors in both 2015 and 2016, and winning multiple national player of the year awards in 2016. Hield was drafted sixth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in 2016. He was then traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2017, the Indiana Pacers in 2022, and the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024. Most recently, Hield was traded to the Golden State Warriors in July 2024 as part of a six-team trade.
