Hubert Davis is an American college basketball coach and former professional player, currently the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. He played college basketball at North Carolina from 1988 to 1992. Davis then had a 12-year NBA career (1992-2004), playing for six teams, including the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks, where he set franchise three-point shooting records. He is also the nephew of former Tar Heel and NBA player Walter Davis.
