Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team established in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada. They compete in the NBA as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference and play their home games at Scotiabank Arena. Initially, they co-existed with the Vancouver Grizzlies, but since 2001-02, the Raptors have been the sole Canadian team in the NBA after the Grizzlies relocated to Memphis.

November 1, 1946: First NBA Game
