Jake Funk is an American professional football running back who played college football at the University of Maryland. He notably averaged 129 rushing yards per game during the shortened 2020 season and led the Big Ten Conference in rushing yards per carry with 8.6. Funk was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He contributed to the Rams' Super Bowl-winning season in 2021.
In 2015, Jake Funk was named the Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year and The Washington Post All-Metro Offensive Player of the Year. He also received two consensus all-state selections that same year.
