Jake Oettinger

Jakob "Jake" Oettinger is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Dallas Stars in the NHL. Nicknamed "Otter", "Ott Dog", or "Phenomenotter", he played college hockey at Boston University. Before his NHL career, Oettinger participated in the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He was highly regarded leading up to the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, where the Dallas Stars selected him in the first round as the 26th overall pick.
