Jason Pizzo is an American attorney and Florida State Senator representing coastal Broward and Miami-Dade Counties since 2018. He holds degrees from New York University, Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. Prior to his senate career, Pizzo served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he helped establish the Gun Violence Initiative, concentrating on cold case shootings and homicides involving youth.
