Joseph Tyler Mixon is a professional American football running back currently playing for the Houston Texans in the NFL. He gained recognition playing college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, where he received first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2016. Mixon was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft and played for them until joining the Texans.

2015: Played in 12 Games as a Freshman

In 2015, during his redshirt freshman year, Joe Mixon played in all 12 games, starting in three. He recorded a 76-yard touchdown reception in his first game and had 154 rushing yards against Texas Tech and 136 rushing yards against Oklahoma State.
