Jonathan Allen is a professional football defensive end currently playing for the Minnesota Vikings. He gained prominence during his college football career at the University of Alabama, where he won a national championship in 2015 and received defensive player of the year honors in 2016. Allen was drafted into the NFL in the first round by the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) in 2017. He played eight seasons with Washington, earning two Pro Bowl selections.
