Kacey Lee Musgraves is an American singer and songwriter who gained recognition in the early 2000s. After self-releasing albums and participating in the singing competition Nashville Star, she signed with Mercury Nashville in 2012. Her debut single "Merry Go 'Round" achieved success, followed by her critically acclaimed album "Same Trailer Different Park" in 2013, which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
