On 29 February 2024, Karol G's Gulfstream IV, en route from Hollywood Burbank Airport to El Salvador International Airport for her Mañana Será Bonito Tour, made an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport due to smoke in the cockpit. All 16 passengers, including Karol G, were safely evacuated.
