History of Neemias Queta in Timeline
Neemias Queta is a Portuguese professional basketball player currently playing for the Boston Celtics in the NBA. Standing at 7 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds, Queta plays center. He began his basketball journey in 2009 with Barreirense and later showcased his talent with the Utah State Aggies in college. Making history in 2021, he was drafted 39th overall, becoming the first Portuguese player ever drafted into the NBA and the first to play in the league on December 17, 2021. He won an NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics in 2024.
