Nissan Stadium, located in Nashville, Tennessee, is a multi-purpose stadium owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County. It serves as the home field for the Tennessee Titans (NFL) and the Tennessee State University Tigers. The stadium hosts the TransPerfect Music City Bowl, and previously housed Nashville SC (MLS). Beyond sports, Nissan Stadium accommodates large-scale concerts, particularly those linked to the CMA Music Festival. Additionally, it provides facilities for public gatherings, including meetings and parties, making it a versatile venue for a range of activities.
The AC/DC concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville was postponed and rescheduled because of severe weather. The decision was made keeping safety in mind due to weather alerts.
In 1999, the Tennessee Titans began playing at Nissan Stadium, winning their first 13 games.
On January 8, 2000, the "Music City Miracle" occurred at then-Adelphia Coliseum. This last-minute trick play on a kickoff return resulted in a touchdown, helping the Titans defeat the Buffalo Bills and advance to the Divisional Playoffs. This ensured that the Titans would go undefeated in their first season in the new stadium, in front of a franchise-record crowd.
On November 12, 2000, the Tennessee Titans lost to the Baltimore Ravens, ending their winning streak at Nissan Stadium.
In 2002, after Adelphia missed a required payment and filed for bankruptcy, the naming rights agreement was abandoned, and the stadium became known as "The Coliseum".

In 2007, LP's influence inside the stadium led to the creation of the LP Building Zones, located beneath the giant scoreboards from Daktronics at the north and south ends of the stadium. The concession stands and restrooms in these two areas were decorated to look like suburban homes using LP products.
Nissan Stadium helped host the CONCACAF men's 2008 qualifying tournaments for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
On April 1, 2009, the U.S. men's national team played a World Cup qualifier beating Trinidad and Tobago, 3–0. Jozy Altidore became the youngest American to score a hat trick for the national team.
On March 29, 2011, the U.S. men returned falling to Paraguay in a friendly before a record crowd of 29,059 – the largest to attend a soccer game in the state of Tennessee.
Nissan Stadium helped host the CONCACAF men's 2012 qualifying tournaments for the 2012 Summer Olympics.
On June 24, 2015, car manufacturer Nissan bought the naming rights for the stadium in a 20-year contract, rebranding the stadium as Nissan Stadium.

On July 29, 2017, English Premier League clubs Manchester City and Tottenham played an exhibition match at Nissan Stadium, setting a record crowd for a soccer game played in Tennessee with 56,232 attendees.
In 2017, Nissan Stadium was chosen for two games of the Group Stage for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
During the 2018 season, the stadium had amongst the highest lower body injuries of any in the NFL.
During the 2018 season, two 20th anniversary logos were put in each of the end zones to celebrate the Titans' 20th year in Nashville. The yard line numbers were also changed to match the number style on the new uniforms.
In 2020, Major League Soccer club Nashville SC began temporarily playing at Nissan Stadium, their first game on February 29 being a 1–2 loss against Atlanta United FC in front of 59,069 fans.
