July 2019: Signed First Professional Contract with Lyon

On July 7, 2019, Rayan Cherki signed his first professional contract with Lyon, which was set to last until 2022.

October 2019: Professional Debut

On October 19, 2019, Rayan Cherki made his professional debut for Lyon in a Ligue 1 match against Dijon, which ended in a 0–0 draw.

November 2019: Senior European Debut

On November 27, 2019, at the age of 16 years and 102 days, Rayan Cherki made his senior European debut in a Champions League group stage game against Zenit. He came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of a 2–0 loss.
