Real Sociedad is a Spanish professional sports club founded in 1909, based in Donostia-San Sebastián, Basque Country. Known as Real Sociedad in English and Erreala/Reala in Basque, the club plays its home matches at the Anoeta Stadium. It is a prominent soccer team in Spain with a rich history.

1904: Formation of San Sebastián Recreation Club
