Rohit Sharma is an Indian international cricketer and captain of the Indian cricket team in Test and ODI formats. Considered a premier ODI opening batter, he plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and Mumbai in domestic cricket. He previously captained India across all formats. After leading India to victory in the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup, he retired from T20Is, and also captained India to victory in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
