Shedeur Sanders is an American football quarterback for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. Prior to joining Colorado in 2023, he played for Jackson State University, where he garnered accolades such as the Jerry Rice Award (given to the top freshman in FCS football) and the Deacon Jones Trophy (awarded to the best HBCU football player). Notably, he is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, who also serves as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes.
