Terry Rozier, nicknamed "Scary Terry," is an American professional basketball player currently with the Miami Heat. He played college basketball at Louisville before being drafted 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in 2015. Rozier served as a reserve for the Celtics for four seasons. He was then traded to the Charlotte Hornets via a sign-and-trade. Rozier started for the Hornets for four and a half seasons before being traded to Miami.
In 2012, Terry Rozier played at Hargrave Military Academy, averaging 29.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He earned the 2012 Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic MVP and placed second in the dunk and three-point contest that season.
On November 13, 2013, Tony Wroten set the initial record of achieving a triple-double in his first NBA start with the Philadelphia 76ers, a record that Terry Rozier later joined.
On November 24, 2017, Terry Rozier achieved a career-high of 23 points in a 118–103 victory over the Orlando Magic.
