Victoria Spartz is a Ukrainian-American politician and businesswoman serving as the U.S. representative for Indiana's 5th congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, she is not affiliated with the House Republican Conference and doesn't receive Republican committee assignments. Prior to her role in the U.S. House, Spartz served as the state senator for Indiana's 20th district. Her political career began in the United States after emigrating from Ukraine.
